Center for Aznite Protection, Enforcements, and Regulations
Narrative:
Since this project was based on fictional material (Aznite),
I chose to write this narrative as a way of providing an origin and basis of my story to the reader.
This initial story focus allows the reader to immediately become familiar with and immersed in the story.
Advertisements:
I chose to have the next section of my project be presented through a series of advertisements
because I thought it would introduce a humorous element into my project;
moreover, this method of presentation provides a lot of creative freedom,
and ensures that the reader would be engaged in reading/watching/listening to the story.
Nonet:
Hah, we got another website down (FBI personnel 1)
these criminals keep getting worse. (FBI personnel 1)
Won't they just make a new one? (FBI personnel 2)
Yeah, just as obvious, (FBI personnel 1)

I chose to do this conversation between FBI agents
as a nonet because
it was a fun and easy way to write out a conversation, which I found to otherwise be a particularly daunting task.
Though it was likely not noticed while listening to it, the conversation was written as a nonet between the two characters.
Additionally, this section was done as a minor introduction to the government influence subplot throughout the project.
Chemistry blog posts/annotated photos:
I chose to do this section this way because it introduced another visual element,
and it established a web-based
theme that you are browsing through different people's lives and websites,
rather than seeing their interactions through a couple of disjointed scenes.
Music sharing website:
I chose to do this section because I wanted a way to tie in the different characters in another website
(and show more of their characteristics through their music tastes), fill out the story world
with more external characters to make it feel more tied into reality,
and to have some seamless way of finally tracking the government agent
characters back to their intelligence website.
Additionally, the inclusion of this piece was intended to mirror most people's experience when browsing,
where they will click through sites resulting in new discoveries through sites they might not have thought they would've visited.
Government website:
I chose to include this website because it serves as the final connection point of the project
to where the other pieces of the project have been hinting towards it along the way,
as a way to recognize the help I got from my friends who graciously said yes to being in random voice/video clips for this project,
and that it perfectly sets up the final piece of the physical book as an analysis of physical evidence/confiscated materials
from the time machine(s) shown in the advertisements.
Physical book:
I wanted to include the element of a physical book to end the project with a highly immersive opportunity
where the reader is not just reading/clicking through the story digitally,
but interacting with it as they are reading the physical book.
Additional Story Ties
4736251 - This Number symbolizes a Musical Chord progression from both "Fly me To the Moon" and "Homage", and appears in many places through out this project.
For example any usernames in this project are some short sequence of the numbers from this,
the tones at the beginning of the government agent nonet are DTMF phone tones of 4736251 played in sequence,
this number was also the price of the machine in the BuyPTSD commercials.
